| I have been reading this thread with intrest, I currently have a letter sent to the USBA GM, as well as manager of the event staff, I forwarded the same letter to Feld entertainment. October 13th, Disney on ice, 10 minutes before the show a USBA staff asked to see into my wifes camera bag and behold, a "profesional Camera" oh my god! the nerve of some people to bring in such a camera, The camera in question a Nikon d70 with a detatchable lens, The same lens that came standard with the camera. So here we were with my 6 year old niece and my 20 month old daughter dressed in $100.00 worth of Cinderella gear. I was told that I should have went onto the internet to see what was prohibited articles but alas the same camera was allowed at Clone games last year so I had no real way of knowing what cameras were allowed, seen same cameras inside and believe now that it really depends on which gate and security person you happen to draw. So here I was with the Children dressed like they were and no way to document the event, still no reply at this time to the letters I sent, and the longer it gets from the event I dare say I won't get a response, from anyone. They didn't even check the diaper bag we had with us. I theorize that they are concerned about someone taking a great picture and somehow making money on the shot, I could see if someone had a huge lense that you actually had to rest on the guys shoulder in front of you, but Cyclone staff, if you are here on the boards and reading the thread, YOUR EVENT STAFF ARE AWFUL!!, there are multiple cameras out there now without detatchable lenses that can produce professional quality pictures, hell I would believe that a professional photographer could take a great picture with a disposable, think I'm pretty upset with the event on October 13th, I've been a season ticket holder since 1994 and have yet to reup this year and have yet to hear a good reason behind their camera policy....Lastly the producers of the Disney on ice, Feld entertainment, at the event that night their policy was not to allow video taping, I would think that the actual event producers should trump the arena policy...thanks for hearing me vent |

At Justin Timberlake, NO CAMERAS were allowed... even disposables. I think some of it has to do with the tour guidelines, not USBA. A friend of mine went to see JT in Tennessee and the same rules were applied there. That is why you are supposed to check online.
Aside from the camera issue, we were not allowed to bring in factory sealed water bottles last weekend? WTF is that?! We have ALWAYS been allowed at USBA, even at the Red's games we are allowed. That one pissed me off. I'm sorry, but $3.50 for a bottle of water is too much for me. |

| I worked for the Event Staff crew. Their instructed to look in each bag, I agree it's a dumb rule, believe me If you don't check the bag & someone catches after. You've broken the 11TH COMMANDMENT. TE EVENT STAFF Manager, se will not do anything she's te most inconpetent person on earth. I sorry it's the truth When I worked the Gate we had to send people back to the car. I myself would never think of bring a nice camera to an event. I mean even for the Circus that was the Rule.[:) |

| Cyclones fans get harassed over cameras but Some jackass from Dayton can bring in a fag flag on a pole that could be use as a weapon. That makes sense to me. |

Woah... Woah...
How did I get drug in to an argument about cameras?
I think you guys are just a little jealous that someone as cool as me is a Dayton fan instead of cheering for your team.
On a related note... have you ever been hit over the head with one of those big professional lenses? Hurts like a be-yatch. |

Hey Jericho,I agree with you on the two foot long pro lenses. That is why all I'm asking for is no video cameras and only cameras with the short (4 to 6" long) telephoto lenses that you could use in a seat and would not extend out to the seat in front of you. The one I have is a 80-210 and is about 7" from the front of the lense to the back of the camera. If you need two hands to steady the camera-the lense is too long!! |

Come on now, he doesn't use it as a weapon. He needs it to get off in between periods by shoving it up his ass (where it rightfully belongs). |

Jeriblow I hope you can still get your flag in USBA because it blocks my view of the game and it is gone. I am a paying costumer and I have the right not to have a big fag flag in my way when I'm trying to watch the game. You want to ban the Clones fans from your board You will see what it's like to be ban. You and your Flag. |

... I love it how all of you think I run that board... It's so funny!
... wait wait... you are a paying costumer? You pay to design disguises for others to wear? That sounds like an awesome job. Only one question? How do you make money if you keep paying it all out for people to wear the costumes you make? |
