| A shame that the game-winning goal came when the puck hit the ref in the leg and left it right in front of the net for you guys to tap in. Good game though. |

And the ref didnt even get a "Star of the Game" for that. He should have at least got an assist. But that was a great game to watch. Too bad it was decided like that.
I wonder if Dayton, Toledo and Cinci could partner to form some kind of Rivalry Package of tickets. It would benefit all the teams and might be a nice perk for an I-75 challenge. |

That would be a very cool idea - mabye a voucher pack good for games in all three arenas or something so you can pick your games. Heck, Wheeling could even be a part of it as they are only 3 hrs away from Dayton, (and not that much futher from Cinci.)

Hey, remember that time we won tonight?? That was really cool. I can't make up my mind what my favorite part of the game was. Was it goal #1, goal #2, goal #3 or the shutout? All of the whining that Dayton was doing about calls was pretty cool too. Actually my favorite part was getting 2 points in the standings. The turnover leading to goal #2 was beautiful. It almost looked like Dayton had been practicing that move. It was also nice to see some of our Bomber friends make it down to witness the beating in person. Thanks for coming!! |

Haha, you beat me to it, Degray on the "remember that time we won tonight" part. :)
LOL @ the turnover leading to Aubin's goal --- has anyone noticed the Bombers turn the puck over to Aubin as if he were wearing a Bombers uni??
Don't forget Yannick Tifu's whining, that was also one of my favorite parts. ;) |

It was lots of fun sitting behind the Bombers' bench and listening to first: the derisive comments about the quality of our team, then second: the sniveling about the refereeing, and finally: this quote after the second score: "one more goal and we're toast." Butter please and cut in triangles....
That said, they do have a point about our attendance figures. For a hardworking team that grinds out a full 60 minutes, our crowd support sucks! Where are the TV promotional spots, etc.? Seems we're the invisible team in town! |

Invisible Team in town is right. If half price tickets drew that few, I would be afraid to see what free tickets would draw.
But fear not! The "Crosstown Shootout" is on BOTH of the major radio stations. How is it we are the only major city in Ohio without a Blue Jacket radio affiliate?
Maybe its time for a new thread....
